Jonathan Davis is a Network Administrator with over 10 years in the Information Technology Industry. He has written and spoken on IT topics, which includes being published in American City and County, The Greensboro News and Record, and speaking at conferences including The National Association of Government Webmasters and the National Association of Counties.

Jonathan's most recent experience is heavily Cisco focussed, working on projects that include the following:

Redesigned and replaced a Cisco wired network uilizing Catalyst 4507, 3750E, and 3560E Switches.

Redesigned a Cisco wireless network utilizing Cisco Aironet 1252 access points, 5508 Wireless Controllers, and WCS.

Replaced an aging Avaya PBX system with Cisco UCS, utilizing Call Manager and Unity, along with 2800 series routers and VG224 gateways.

In addition to his Cisco experience, Jonathan has also worked on the following projects:

Implemented a VMWare Virtual Center and ESX environment, which allowed for a 6 to 1 server consolidation.

Upgraded video conference system, which allowed for continued use of existing investment, while at the same time, providing a better user experience, and more consistent results.

Beyond IT, Jonathan regularly works mixing live audio, video, and lighting. He first began mixing audio and lighting at the age of 14, and now has over 15 years in the industry. His video editing expertise was developed when he was tasked to begin producing 3-5 minute video clips in Final Cut Pro 3. Since that time, his experience has led him to run shows for multiple national recording artist, and to assist with too many shows and concerts to count.

In his personal life, Jonathan has been married for 5 years to Cory Lietz, a current nursing student at Forsyth Tech. They reside together in Greensboro, NC. He is a member of Mensa and spends alot of his time volunteering with his church and other non-profit organizations. To that end, Jonathan has been recognized by The American Legion, The North Carolina Department of Human Resources, and The Boy Scouts of America.
